The Tudors

The Tudors began with Henry VII and ended with his granddaughter, Elizabeth I. In the intervening years England was subjected to radical religious upheaval which irrevocably changed the fabric of society, and the relationship between the people and the monarch. Reformation laid the foundations of revolution for the Stuarts who followed.
